Ingredients
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 5 rashers bacon, chopped
- 300 g button mushrooms, chopped
- 500 ml cream
- 1 packet Maggi mushroom soup
- 400 g penne pasta
Method
Heat oil in a frypan over a medium heat and cook chopped bacon, onion and garlic together until onion is tender.
Meanwhile cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente.
Add chopped mushrooms to the frypan and cook for a further minute or two. Mix in cream and mushroom soup mix.
Cook for further couple of minutes until sauce is thick. Add chopped
parsley and parmesan cheese. Pour over your choice of cooked pasta.
Serve immediately.
